New Business Offers Colorful, New Gifts and Free Personalization

New Business Offers Colorful, New Gifts and Free Personalization

Greensboro, NC (Vocus) November 25, 2009

Looking for unusual, meaningful gifts that won’t break the bank this holiday season? ePersonalized Gifts, a new catalog and internet business of communications powerhouse Pace Communications , is offering hundreds of products that can make shopping a breeze.

“People are looking for unique gifts they can customize, gifts that express their love and create a lasting memory,” said Cindy Marsha”They want to make sure what they spend is meaningful.”

The new company sells products you won’t find in mass retail stores. The gift assortment— for women , men , children , and babies —has a boutique feel, and includes many products designed in-house, plus other items exclusive to ePersonalized Gifts. Marshall is confident the new business will flourish because of its fun, chic, and unique products—and three other factors.

“First, we have great price points,” she said. “Second, everything—even a personalized item—is unconditionally guaranteed. And finally, only with us, customers can personalize nearly everything we offer for absolutely free.”

Need a gift for your sun-loving friend? How about a hot pink terrycloth lounge chair cover, embroidered with her initials, with a hood so it won’t blow off at the beach. Or, for the man who has everything, a combination USB flash and keychain, engraved with his monogram. Your overactive nephew might calm down with a carry-anywhere doodle kit with his name on it, complete with crayons, pad, chalk and chalkboard. Your little sweetheart surely deserves her own towel set and fluffy hooded robe embroidered with her name and pink hearts. And who could resist hospital scrubs for that infant McCutey, with embroidered name above the little pocket?

Offering personalized gifts seemed a natural for the company that produces Exclusively Weddings, a catalog and website offering personalized items to brides and grooms since 1992. As an industry leader in the wedding business, the company knows what sells when emotions are involved. Also, its office and warehouse in Greensboro, N.C., includes departments for embroidery, engraving, hot stamping and a print shop, so items can be personalized on site and sent within days.

“We have helped nearly a million brides create the wedding of their dreams, but we had nothing to offer them after the wedding,” Marshall noted. “We have the expertise in-house, so it seemed logical to offer equally exciting personalized items for family, friends, and newborns. And we really wanted to offer people new ways of giving in time for the holiday season.”

The new line is available at epersonalizedgifts.com. For more information about the product or the company, please contact Linh Calhoun.

Pro City Drags Business Networking Into The 21st Century Facilitating Genuine Connections Within The Manchester Business Scene

Pro City Drags Business Networking Into The 21st Century Facilitating Genuine Connections Within The Manchester Business Scene

(PRWEB) May 20, 2010

Pro City’s launch event takes place in the Northern Quarter’s Apotheca bar on Thursday the 27th of May. On an evening for business owners, entrepreneurs and freelancers alike, the event will take pace in an easy and social environment where relationships can be built naturally and without the uneasy, unproductive nature of a traditional business networking event. There’ll be free refreshments and a private bar with the event taking place on an evening.

A typical business networking event sees a room full of individuals with very little desire to communicate anything other than their camouflaged pitch. You only get to speak to so many people and the salesperson approach barely generates attention let alone builds a relationship.

Social networking has thrived in recent years with an understanding that a relationship is a natural and two-way process. Relationships are often built before partnerships, or even sales, and if you’re of the mindset that ‘you’re all that matters’, you’re likely to be left behind.

Pro City goes one step further to facilitate that two-way communication by way of their ‘Virtual Handshake’ system. This is basically a business card networking stand where your contact details will be placed giving a fellow attendee a chance to pin theirs next to yours, giving you a virtual handshake and letting them know that you’d like them to contact you without the time constraint of the event.

“Too many times at networking events, we go with the intention of networking with a specific target market but we don’t always get the chance to talk to them and there lies a wasted opportunity”, says Jackson Kelly, owner of Pro City. “We don’t want our attendees to walk away feeling like they’ve not gotten anything from the event so we’re looking at ways to help them connect with the people they want to connect with.”

“What I intend is for a Pro City event is to give people a way to relax in an easy environment and develop strong relationships to flourish whether an independent business or freelancer. The overall aim is to achieve a cohesive social economy in Greater Manchester during a time when business contacts are proving the strongest alliances for the survival of Manchester’s freelancers and SMEs.”

So book on to the FREE launch event at http://www.procitynetworking.com/events and why not download the free guide to networking whilst you’re there. Also, bring with you an extra business card to be entered into the prize draw where you can win a bottle of champagne.

And, of course, it wouldn’t be a launch night without free refreshments.

Editors Notes:

Jackson Kelly has a history of working with offline social networks and having attended business networking events himself sees the benefits of incorporating a social aspect into what he perceives to be now ineffective boardroom-style events. You can contact Jackson at: info(at)procitynetworking(dot)com.

Business Owners Who Struggle to Speak Out Can Learn to Be Their Own Best Advocates

Business Owners Who Struggle to Speak Out Can Learn to Be Their Own Best Advocates

Walnut Creek, CA (PRWEB) April 15, 2005

Over 800,000 new small businesses are created each year, according to the Small Business Administration. However, statistics also show only a few of them will ever reach their full potential. A crucial factor in the success of a company is its marketing strategy, and according to Break Through the Noise author Elisa Southard, the best person to promote a company is its leader.

Simply stated, businesses are more likely to succeed when owners are able to translate their passion for their company into a marketing message that sells their products and services. Often this takes a bit of coaching, so Southard now teaches classes based on Break Through the Noise to help business owners understand the marketing assets of their company and show them innovative ways to personally deliver their message to clients and customers every day.

On May 11, 2005 small business owners in the San Francisco Bay Area will have an opportunity to hone their innate marketing skills in a seminar sponsored by the Learning Annex, a premier producer of seminars throughout the United States and Canada. Conducted by Southard, who is also a former president of the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce and developer of the Break Through the Noise personal marketing and public relations tools, this seminar gives business owners the tools to:

•address stress points of everyday marketing situations

•concentrate on what you can control

•get going if you are struggling or stalled

The Break Through the Noise marketing concept is popular with leaders in the fast paced business environment of Northern California where Southard researched her book. “Whether sole proprietor or CEO, business owners dealing with the bombardment of day-to-day issues get blindsided by marketing. They don’t have the luxury to say ‘oops’ if their message doesn’t communicate. Professionals need to be able to promote themselves under stress and in a way that fits their personal style,” says Dr. Ann Blackburn, facilitator of the East Bay chapter of the Women’s President Organization, whose members experienced the Break Through the Noise workshop at their March 11th retreat.

Best selling author Jack Canfield, co-creator of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, adds, “With the Break Through the Noise tools, you’ll be confident of what to say, when to say it and have fun doing it.” This upcoming seminar will help business owners and CEOs take full advantage of the best business resource they ever underutilized…themselves.

To learn more about being your own best advocate, visit http://BreakThroughTheNoise.com. To sign up for the seminar with a courtesy discount, logon to http://www.learningannex.com/search.taf?ccode=SF755.

Southard is accredited by the Public Relations Society of America, and author of Break Through the Noise, 9 Tools To Propel Your Marketing Message. Her teammate, The Learning Annex, is committed to impacting and improving the quality of people’s lives through powerful, practical, and insightful classes, workshops, seminars and events. Workshop available throughout the United States by arrangement with author.

Adams Business Communications Models Home Based Business for Northern Michigan

Adams Business Communications Models Home Based Business for Northern Michigan

Higgins Lake, MI (PRWEB) May 12, 2006 –

Newly retired from public employment, in the fledgling stages of establishing a new business (Adams Business Communications, http://www.writemind.net), and saddled with a rising mortgage payment on her California home, Nancy Adams had to decide—and quickly—whether to sink or swim. She made her choice, and she hasn’t looked back.

In January 2005, when Adams retired from her local government job with health care benefits and a small pension, she was fed up with the bureaucracy and determined to turn her part-time avocation as a freelance copywriter into a full-time business. But shortly after she retired, the monthly payments on her unconventional mortgage began to rise along with interest rates, putting a strain on an already tight budget.

Adams and her partner, Suzanne Meyer, took stock of the situation and made a decision to take control of their future. As they considered their options, moving to northern Michigan emerged again and again as the most practical and appealing solution. Adams is a Michigan native, and she and Meyer had grown weary of the congested environment in California. They were strongly attracted by northern Michigan’s low population density and natural beauty, as well as the recreational opportunities afforded by its abundant waterways and four distinct seasons. With tremendous resolve and a sense of high adventure, they put a “For Sale” sign on their California home, ready to reap the equity windfall of the wild real estate market.

“When we looked at all of our possibilities, this decision was a no-brainer,” says Adams. “We used the proceeds from the sale of our home to get rid of debt, put a down payment on our new home, and establish a rainy-day fund. The lower cost of living in Michigan increased the value of my pension, and we found a wonderful home in an idyllic setting at Higgins Lake—at a fraction of the cost of anything in California. And, because Adams Business Communications is Internet based, I knew I could work anywhere—but what could be more inspiring to a writer than a cozy retreat nestled in the beautiful north woods?”

Adams is quick to point out, though, that the move hasn’t been entirely free of challenges. “We faced some initial problems with the sale of our California home, but those glitches just reinforced our belief in our decision to sell. And while our new location brings us the solitude we treasure, it also means we have to work harder to meet new friends.”

Nonetheless, Adams says, she and Meyer have had no time adjusting to the slower pace, and they are thrilled with their new location. “As we approached retirement, like our baby-boom peers, we were concerned about issues like health care, affordable housing, and generating income to supplement pensions and personal savings. By making this move, we’ve covered all of those bases, and we’ve found our little piece of paradise, to boot.”

According to Adams, several friends and family members were skeptical of the move, aghast that she and Meyer would leave the sunny west coast for Michigan’s long winters. “But because Adams Business Communications is home based, I don’t have to get up early on winter mornings to shovel snow so I can join the rush hour on an icy freeway. And in the warmer weather, I can take a midday break to enjoy a walk in the woods or a picnic at the lake. Northern Michigan offers a wealth of advantages for work-at-home folks like us.”

iHOUSE LocalNet Makes Registering With Major Local Business Directories A Snap

Oakland, CA (PRWEB) August 28, 2006

iHOUSE Web SolutionsTM, a division of CIS Data SystemsTM, today announces the launch of its LocalNet Registration Service, currently available to its website customers. It is a new way for its real estate agent clientele to quickly build their Internet presence.

“Trying to make sure your business information is available and accurate on the myriad of Internet business directories can be daunting,” said Paul Sheng, CEO of iHOUSE Web Solutions. “LocalNet offers a quick and easy method of helping our website customers get their name in front of potential clients searching for real estate services on these key local search engines.”

The sheer number of available directories, combined with disparate and often hard to find registration forms, has discouraged many real estate agents from taking advantage of these important marketing resources. Many small businesses often have limited, out-of-date information – or worse, no information at all- on the top-tier Internet directories including Google Local, Yahoo! Local, Yellowpages.com, Verizon Superpages.com, Insider Pages, Local.com, Judy’s Book, TrueLocal.com and more.

LocalNet’s sign up process is a snap – just fill out one set of forms and LocalNet takes care of the rest. LocalNet will use the information collected to complete registration process for these individual web directories, representing a significant time-savings for its customers. In addition, the resulting LocalNet business profile is hosted as a search-engine friendly web page on the iHOUSE LocalNet Agent Directory.

“Real estate agents have busy, fast-paced lives” said Sheng. “They don’t have time to learn all the ins and outs of technology – and they shouldn’t have to. That’s what we’re here for.”

A Phoenix Rises From the Ashes: New Orleans Based Business Man Set to Launch Revolutionary Positive New Housing Concept

A Phoenix Rises From the Ashes: New Orleans Based Business Man Set to Launch Revolutionary Positive New Housing Concept

New Orleans, LA (PRWEB) December 28, 2006

With figures for sales of existing homes declining for the sixth straight month and prices continuing to drop, so called ‘bubbles’ are bursting across the nation. Homebuyers are finally in a position to shop for their dream house. With their newfound power, these homebuyers are taking their time and calculating a wider range of options than they have had in years. Combine this with eager to please developers erecting more innovative and appealing new homes and you’ve got a situation primed for true advances in the housing market.

One of the most dramatic new entrants to the market is Jeriko House, a unique combination of top-flight construction and high-end design made possible by cutting edge technology and innovative engineering. The heart behind Jeriko House is Shawn Burst, a successful Louisiana businessman who’s vision for a better way to build and a better way to live created and guides Jeriko House. In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, the focus on new concept in housing has never been greater.

Mr. Burst expects a tremendous response from not only buyers, but also market watcher in the real estate and construction sectors. “I’ve found that keeping your eye on what’s possible is the key to finding solutions and making them available when their needed most. Homebuyers know all too well what’s been out there for them to choose from for the past fifty years. The Jeriko House is the advance notice of a revolutionary approach that will set the pace for residential design for the next fifty years to come,” he says.

Using advanced aerospace aluminum, stainless steel, and a patented interlocking system that maximizes modern engineering and construction methods, the Jeriko House combines super-strong materials and rigid construction methods with unparalleled design flexibility. Construction is completed in a matter of weeks, rather than the months it takes to build a traditional “stick built” house. But make no mistake — this is not the pre-fab house of past attempts that you may be familiar with. Due to the international design and engineering team, Jeriko House out looks, out feels, and out performs any home here to for, pre-fab or otherwise.

Burst feels that homebuyers are taking their time in the current market because they are tired of repeatedly seeing the same house. “The Jeriko House will reach out to those who want this most important purchase of their lives to be the home they’ve dreamed of living in. The Jeriko house doesn’t look like any house you’ve ever seen. It isn’t build like any house you’ve ever seen. And it doesn’t feel like any house you’ve ever been in.” he says that, in a sense, the Jeriko House is “created” rather than built. “The Jeriko House is a home that will engage you, in ways far surpassing the experience of those who simply own their houses.”

Burst’s company is preparing for the launch of the Jeriko House within the next few months. It promises to be somewhat revolutionary in design, function, and perhaps most importantly, accessibility. It would seem that homebuyers will soon get the superior product they have been asking for.
