The Pain Injection is an all natural amino acid and glucosamine blend to reduce pain perception and improve joint condition
COMPOSITION
D-phenylalanine 25 mg/g
L-isoleucine 32 mg/g
D-leucine 25 mg/g
Actions
The Pain Injection is a supplement of amino acids which promote the production of the body's natural "feel good" hormones, with added Glucosamine for natural reduction of inflammation.
Key Features & Benefits:
* The Pain Injection improves the brain levels of endorphins, to reduce perception of pain.
* The Pain Injection is essential amino acids only (does not contain chemical analgesics).
* The Pain Injection is most effective given twice daily, with last dose within 4 hours of hard work.
The Pain Injection is a unique formulation of all essential amino acid co-factors to provide a perception of pain relief. The essential amino acid Phenylalanine inhibits the breakdown of opiate-like substances called encephalins in the brain, by reducing the activity of a particular brain enzyme. Reduced breakdown results in an increased level of encephalins or endorphins in the brain. Endorphins are released in response to pain, and act as natural analgesics, or pain relievers, to enable the body to cope with pain.
D-Phenylalanine has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.
L-Isoleucine and D-Leucine are essential amino acids in the production of endorphins.
The combination of these three amino acids, Phenylalanine, Isoleucine and Leucine, results in a stimulation of endorphin production, as well as a reduction in endorphin breakdown.
Glucosamine is a nutrient that helps reduce inflammation, particularly in joints, and also helps the production of good quality cartilage and joint fluid materials.
The increase in brain endorphin levels results in a reduction in pain perception, and has a mild euphoric effect. This mental state will assist in reducing the pain associated with muscle fatigue or injury to enable maximum performance.

Tips:
Many endurance, eventing, jumping, and staying racehorses will develop some degree of muscle fatigue during performance. Fatigue causes muscle pain, and reduces performance. The Pain Injection, L-CARNITINE Injection and The Pain Injection w/ Carnitine are three options to reduce onset of fatigue and the perception of muscle pain.
